Primavera Sound Festival (June)
The San Miguel Primavera Sound Festival takes place in the Parc del Fòrum every year, about 6km north-east from the center of Barcelona. Primavera is one of Spain’s largest festivals and is visited annually by over 100,000 music fans. This year Franz Ferdinand, Justice, The Cure and The xx were one of the Headliners. Sónar Festival (June)

La Mercè Festival (End of September)

Jazzfestival (October – December)
For over 44 years the Barcelona Jazz Festival has taken place in late autumn. Big names such as Wayne Shorter, Jimmy Cobb, Marcus Miller and Kings of Convenience are part of the line-up. Tickets are purchased for the individual concerts; there is no “Festival Pass” for all events.
